12x12 Layout: Pretty Girl

Hello Lovelies,

Today, I'd like to share with you a layout and process video of my daughter at 8 months. I'm still pretty behind on her first year book (mainly because I take wayyy too many pictures) and haven't been in my scraproom for a good little while. Life is busy! I'd like to be in there more than I have been... that's my goal. Wish me luck!

Like I've mentioned in other videos, I refuse to put away my Teresa Collins, Save the Date collection. I've hoarded it too long and I need to use it. I've got a ton of stuff stashed and I just keep buying more. So, I'm going to use what I have (For NOW... who am I kidding:)). So, I used some papers from the collection plus a bit from other collections.

The layout itself was a challenge from the Victoria Marie Facebook Group which was to use a layout or sketch as inspiration. I have this one pinned to my Pinterest board for those who follow and are interested.

The larger background papers are from MME, Market Street, Ashbury Heights (white and coral stripe) and the wood grain/birch tree pattern is from the Basic Grey, Aspen Frost collection.

The diecuts used are from Kaisercraft Bow and Arrow and American Crafts, Maggie Holmes, Open Book.
I also used some Authentique small alphas for the smaller title in the top right corner and black, foam Thickers in the Doll font for my main title.
The top portion of the page needed something else so I used black watercolour and splattered around my photo. I think it finished everything off nicely.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you'd like to see more, please watch my YouTube video for this layout. You'll find the link for it below.

Have a great day!
