Christmas 2011 Mini Album

Happy Sunday Friends!
I wanted to share a Christmas Mini Album I created for a swap with a special YouTube friend, Audrey! This album was super fun to make and I completed it in almost a day or so... it was quick! They say, "Time flies when you're having fun!" I guess I was having fun! LOL!

I used both the Holly Jolly and I Believe collections from My Minds Eye. I love both those collections. One so very traditional and the other a bit more modern with a bright splash of aqua. I couldn't just use one, right?
The embellishments are super simple... that's just the kinda girl I am.... simple! I kept the album pretty clean and neat for the most part.

I appreciate you stopping by and reading (and watching!) my blog.

Mini Album: 4x4 Coaster Mariposa Mini Album

Good Morning All!
Here's an itty bitty mini album I created out of 4x4 chipboard coasters I bought ages ago at Michaels. It's all chipboard and paper.. DCWV's Mariposa paper to be exact! The inside is simple but elegant but it's the front cover I love the best! Soft, feminine, and elegant but most importantly... fun!

I'm going to have this one for sale on my boutique page. So check it out if you're interested in it. As always, thanks for watching (and reading)!

Mini Album for Grandma

Heya Friends,

This post is going up on my blog a little late but I wanted to add it anyway since I haven't had the time to breathe lately and I finally have a free moment :)

May 15th was my grandmother's 76th birthday and I wanted to make her a mini album she could haul around with her in her suit case when she travels back and forth to Italy. She goes every year for a couple of months and we rarely get to speak to her while she's there... I always found this odd, but have quickly realized why this is... She's trying to get away from us! LOL No, seriously, I feel she misses home (Italy) and tries to take in as much as possible and do it all! She only calls (or answers the phone) when she wants to. Gotta love her!

But during this time, she doesn't get to see her family and I wanted her to be able to whip out her album, reminisce, and then put it aside and continue on with her day.

This is the album I came up with for her. It's similar to the album I made for my mom for Mother's day but much more compact and portable and with a different colour scheme.

Enjoy & thanks for watching!

Mother's Day Mini Album

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

I hope everyone's weekend was fabulous... I know mine was :) I got to spend my entire Sunday, Mother's Day, with my mom and grandma. Man, are these women a strong and powerful force in my life. I contribute the woman I've become to them! I love you and thank you!

As a gift this year I wanted to give my mom something different. I've grown quite tired and bored of buying clothing and useless junk for her. She's got a closet full of clothing she doesn't wear and a house filled with past gifts, if you know what I mean ;) I wanted to give her something she'd treasure and maybe pull at her heart strings a bit.... LOL

So, this is what I came up with... an envelope mini album. I didn't want to overwhelm my mom with pockets, pulls and flaps so I made a basic mini with a few tags. It turned out great, she LOVED it!!! She was amazed at what you could do with paper and some glue.
Enjoy! Thanks for watching (and reading)!
