Today I want to share with you a layout I created. The picture is one from this past summer when hubs and I revealed to our immediate family what gender our baby was. This was super fun day and we both had a blast!
The collection I used was the Portrait Collection from Crate Paper. I've been hoarding this collection for so long and I thought it was about time I used it. LOL!
Now, anyone who knows me, knows that I rarely just use one collection to create my layouts. I like to jump around and use bits and pieces and things I think work well together. For the most part it's all Crate Paper with the exception of a few ephemera pieces.
At the end, I felt it needed something else and I found the perfect solution. I used Glossy Accents on the bottom left red rose and the top right corner circles. It added that bit of something without over complicating the whole layout. It's hard to tell from the photo but believe me, they're shiny. You know, there is a fine line and a person can go overboard :P
