12x12 Layout: The Shoes

Hey Kids!
Today's layout is totally about the rocking pair of kicks my daughter used to wear. She grew outta these so quickly, as all kids do, but I loved when she wore them. And so, here we are... documenting. LOL!

The charcoal polk a dot paper I used is from Bo Bunny, Double Dot Designs. I backed that and adhered it to Simple Stories, Fresh Air, Hello Spring sheet to frame the entire layout.
The photo itself is matted with a darker pink striped sheet from my stash. Also, from my stash, the tan/light brown floral and the multi coloured triangle layers. I felt these worked well with the colours and overall layout. So, why not use them!

The (heart) you diecut is cut from cardstock with my Cameo. The newsprint butterfly is from MME, Collectible Collection in Memorable. The tags are from my stash. The black tab in the top right corner of the photo layers is from Crate Paper, Maggie Holmes.
The pennant banner in the bottom right is from Teresa Collins, Something Wonderful decorative stickers.
The doily I tucked in behind the layers are from my stash as well. I like to keep many of them on hand since I just love using them on my layouts.
I went minimal with this layout. I just let the papers and the photos speak for themselves.

The title is made up of two different types of alpha stickers. The larger ones are Thickers in Marquise. I just love the white stitching on these. It adds the right amount of detail.
The smaller alphas are from Glitz, Teeny Alpha in black.

That wraps up the layout for today. I hope you all enjoyed being here with me today!
