Layout Share

Hiya Fellow Crafters! Happy Monday!
I wanted to share 2 layouts I created a couple days ago. Super fun! Like I've mentioned a few times recently, I am really getting back into scrapbooking. I originally started scrapbooking and then took up card making and altering projects and all the other fun stuff that comes with crafting. But I have recently found a new love for layouts! These were super fun to make. Hope you like 'em!
The first one is one I made of my 30th birthday this past March. I took the opportunity to scrap a layout of myself. A rare occasion... Did some layering with paper, used a cut up doily, and my fave punch from MS, Classic Butterflies. I also cut from my Cricut, the fleur de lis. Everything is inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I took this opportunity to use some of my scraps for some added visual interest.

The second one here was also taken on my birthday but decided to go with just a "friendly" theme. y hubby is truly my best friend and I tried to capture that in a layout. This layout, with exception of the base cardstock, was created entirely with paper scraps I had lying around in my scrap bin. The original idea for this layout was something I saw on Pinterest and wanted to re-create... kinda. The element I wanted to re-create was the paper strips in the back. They're all cut at different angles and lengths and widths. Super fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate that you're here!
Big Hugs,
